SARA ROSENFELD-JOHNSON - TALKTOOLS ®

SARA ROSENFELD-JOHNSON based in the USA, has more than 30 years of experience as a speech and language pathologist and has spent the last 20 years perfecting her unique brand of muscle-based speech therapy. She has authored many works on the subject, including Oral-Motor Exercises for Speech Clarity, The HOMEWORK Book, Assessment and Treatment of the Jaw and The Drooling Program

In settings ranging from schools to hospitals, and from clinics to the living room, her techniques have shown a high degree of success, even where traditional speech therapy has failed. For this reason, Sara now devotes her time to teaching others the methods so that they too can help their clients with difficult-to-remedy articulation problems.

Sara founded Innovative Therapists International in 1995 as a speakers bureau and source for muscle-based therapy tools. She has held seminars throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, Italy, Germany, Ireland, England, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and South Africa.

She is the international spokesperson for Moebius Syndrome and CHARGES Syndrome, a member of the National Down Syndrom Congress' Professional Advisory Committee and a nationally recognised presenter for Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy Associations. Sara has been a featured speaker at ASHA conventions on both the state and national levels.

The Ithaca College and Columbia University graduate founded Sara R. Johnson & Associates in South Salem, NY. This clinic, now located in Tucson, AZ, specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of clients with oral-motor based feeding and/or speech disorders.
